J.D. Hensarling

J.D. Hensarling is an attorney in the Raleigh, North Carolina area with 30 years of experience in litigation. J.D.’s primary focus is on helping individuals and businesses with complex business disputes, including contract, member and shareholder, employee departure, trade secret, and construction disputes, matters involving unfair and deceptive trade practices, and cases involving commercial landlords and tenants, personal injury, negligence, and fraud. 

J.D. has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including real estate development, construction, employee staffing, metal fabrication, entertainment, energy, insurance, healthcare, education, telecommunications, and medical services. 

A respected figure in the legal community, J.D. is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the 10th Judicial District Bar. He has taught Pretrial Litigation and Trial Advocacy at Campbell Law School since 2010 as a member of the Adjunct faculty. He is licensed in North Carolina, Texas, and the District of Columbia, and admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, and D.C. circuits, the District of Columbia Circuit Court, and the U.S. District courts in North Carolina and Texas.
