Matthew F. Stauff

To offer top-notch legal services focused on achieving his clients’ goals, Matthew F. Stauff co-founded SGPNC Law in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is driven by the passion for defending the rights of the residents of Wake County and Johnston County in the areas of divorce and family law, child custody and visitation, employment law and wrongful termination.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in English in 2000 at Providence College, Mr. Stauff proceeded to earn his Juris Doctor in 2005 from Roger Williams University School of Law. Permitted to practice in the states of North Carolina, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, he also represents his clients before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. He has lectured at a few conferences on interesting legal topics.

Having litigated numerous cases in the courtrooms, Mr. Stauff has extensive experience as a certified parenting coordinator in high-conflict custody cases. A well-prepared and understanding attorney, he strives to reach amicable settlements through negotiations and discussions before going to court. With meticulous attention to detail, he develops a thoughtful approach to help his clients face difficult situations.

A well-known member of the legal community, Mr. Stauff maintains his active involvement in organizations like the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Tenth Judicial District Bar and the Wake County Bar Association.
