Meredith Brewer

Meredith Brewer is a partner at Dysart Willis in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ms. Brewer concentrates her practice on criminal and civil matters with a focus on criminal litigation, representing clients in Raleigh and the surrounding area.

After graduating cum laude from North Carolina State University, Ms. Brewer earned her law degree from Wake Forest Law. While attending law school, she gained legal experience as an intern with the U.S. Department of Justice Organized Crime and Gang Section in Washington, D.C., and interning with district attorney offices in Forsyth and Wake counties in North Carolina.

During law school, Ms. Brewer also authored articles for various legal publications and served as president of Wake Forest Law’s Women in Law organization. She also belonged to the Pro Bono Honor Society and received the Forsyth County Women Attorney’s Association scholarship award. 

Following law school, Ms. Brewer passed the North Carolina bar examination and received her license to practice law. She is qualified to appear before all North Carolina state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, and U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Ms. Brewer is also qualified to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Since entering private practice, she has proven herself to be a committed and strong advocate on behalf of her clients and has earned a place as a respected member of the Raleigh legal community. 

Serving in various leadership roles, Ms. Brewer sits on the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association Boards as well as the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Board.
