Meredith L. Cross

A partner at Gailor Hunt Davis Taylor & Gibbs, PLLC, in Raleigh, North Carolina, Meredith L. Cross is a board-certified family law specialist by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specializations and a certified parenting coordinator by the Center for Cooperative Parenting. Her practice handles family law matters, including child support, spousal support, child custody, equitable distribution and domestic violence cases.

Ms. Cross passionately advocates for her clients in court and through negotiating and preparing family law agreements, such as premarital, postnuptial, and separation and property settlement agreements. As a parenting coordinator, she guides parents through conflict resolution, enhances communication and assists in making challenging co-parenting decisions.

Following her graduation with a B.A. in history from Wake Forest University in 2004, Ms. Cross embarked on her journey to acquire a law degree at Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where she graduated in 2008. While studying there, she actively participated in Delta Theta Phi and earned a Book Award for her contributions to Juvenile Court Mediation. Admitted to practice law in 2008, she is an affiliate of the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association.

In addition to her professional practice, Ms. Cross is deeply involved in her legal community. She has served as chair of the Wake County Bar Association’s Public Service Committee and is currently an associate of its Professionalism Committee. Her dedication to pro bono work has been recognized by her inclusion in the North Carolina Pro Bono Honor Society for four consecutive years, from 2017 to 2020. In 2015, she was honored with the Spotlight on Professionalism award by the Tenth Judicial District Bar and Wake County Bar Association, celebrating her outstanding efforts to uphold professionalism within the legal community.
