A 1993 B.A. graduate of Wake Forest University, Mr. Gantt completed his MBA with dean's list honors at Regent University in 1995 and earned his Juris Doctor with honors in 1999 from Tulane University Law School. During his time in law school, he was the only student to represent his institution in both trial and appellate practice competitions at the intercollegiate level. After spending some time in investment banking and then attending Georgetown's LLM program in Taxation, he switched his focus to family law.

A former president of the Rotary Club of North Raleigh, Mr. Gantt is a member of the Wake County Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association – Minorities in the Profession Committee. He frequently gives seminars to other lawyers in his field on a variety of topics related to family law.
