After graduating magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from North Carolina State University, Mr. Hynson furthered his education at Boston University, where he earned his Master of Arts degree in history with honors. Mr. Hynson then attended New England Law | Boston, where he received his Juris Doctor cum laude in 2016, the same year in which he obtained his license to practice law in North Carolina.
Mr. Hynson is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. Within his legal community, he is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and currently serves on the Executive Committee for the Criminal Defense Section of North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ). Mr. Hynson is a past recipient of a NCAJ NEXT fellowship, a leadership initiative within NCAJ. Mr. Hynson has been featured as a speaker at NCAJ and his work has received attention in legal and general media outlets.
