Practicing criminal defense law including traffic tickets to serious felonies since 1979. Two years experience as an assistant District Attorney. Mr. Hester is a Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Law. Mr. Until July 31,2013 Mr. Hester sat on the Board of the Clean Water Management Trust Fund (he was its first chairman) and the Coastal Resources Commission. He was awarded The Order of The Long Leaf Pine by Governor Easley for his work establishing the Trust Fund. Mr. Hester has been a youth baseball coach for some 20 years and is a Babe Ruth League Certified Coach. Mr. Hester was recently selected by readers of the Rocky Mount Telegram as "Best Attorney" for the 8th time during his career.
