Branch W. Vincent III is the founding attorney of Vincent Law Firm, P.C., serving clients in areas surrounding Southern Shores, North Carolina. Practicing law for over three decades, he concentrates his practice on cases related to workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability, personal injury, race and age discrimination, wrongful death and excessive force by law enforcement. He also takes on cases that involve lawsuits related to insurance companies.
Since founding his firm in 2005, Mr. Vincent has helped thousands of injured workers and other clients. He is well-aware of the psychological impact that discrimination or suffering injuries through no fault of one’s own can have on an individual, and he is a zealous advocate for his clients’ rights. Mr. Vincent finished his bachelor’s degree with a major in political science from Hampden-Sydney College in 1983. He went on to pursue his Juris Doctor from the Campbell University – Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, which he completed in 1986.
Board-certified as a specialist in workers’ compensation law by the North Carolina State Bar, Mr. Vincent is also an accredited attorney by the Department of Veterans Affairs. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
Mr. Vincent holds memberships in the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives and the Workers’ Compensation Section, the Disability Advocacy Section, the Professional Negligence Section, and the Employment Law Section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He is also a member of the North Carolina State Bar Workers’ Compensation Specialization Committee.
