S. Ranchor Harris, III

For over 30 years, S. Ranchor Harris III has maintained his eminent legal advocacy in every case he has handled, emphasizing personalized attention and meticulous focus to clients, as well as comfort and confidence that their legal matters will be handled professionally and with grace and poise. The owner and founder of  Ranchor Harris Law in Wake Forest, North Carolina, he handles legal issues pertaining to personal injury law involving defamation, slander, libel, privacy, truck accidents, motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, toxic torts, aviation accidents, and defective and dangerous products, among many others.  Currently, his practice has a focus on assisting victims of defamation and invasion of privacy matters.

He has brought in mammoth compensation for his clients, with some notable examples including a settlement of $4.9 million in an aviation accident, a $1.3 million verdict in a bisphosphonate case and a $1.8 million settlement in a water contamination case. Within his legal community, Mr. Harris maintains close affiliations with myriad prominent legal organizations, including the American Board of Trial Advocates and Legal Counsel of American. Within the American Board of Trial Advocates, he serves on the Executive Committee and as the president of the organization’s Eastern Division of North Carolina.
