Anna Blood

The managing partner and founder of the firm Blood Law, attorney Anna Blood, serves clients in Union County, Mecklenburg County and Charlotte, North Carolina. For more than 10 years, she has been fighting for the rights and entitlements of families in cases related to divorce, property and debt division, child custody and support, same-sex divorce, grandparents’ rights, restraining orders, spousal support and adoption.

A native of Union County, North Carolina, Ms. Blood completed her bachelor’s degree in international studies from Saint Leo University in 2011. She pursued her legal education and received her Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law in 2015. She was licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina the following year.

As a child of divorced parents and a mother of three children, Ms. Blood derives enormous pride in helping families face legal challenges and equipping them to move forward with confidence. She provides trusted counsel and representation in and out of the courtroom.

Before founding Blood Law, Ms. Blood worked as a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office in Tampa, Florida, learning the ins and outs of the law. She also worked at various other renowned law firms and gained a vast amount of experience.

For her remarkable success and passion for helping clients, Ms. Blood was selected as the North Carolina Legal Elite in Family Law for three years in a row. She stays connected with the legal community and holds memberships in the North Carolina Bar Association’s Family Law Section and Union County Bar Association. She is among the Board of Directors of YMCA and Kids First of the Carolinas.
