With a legal career spanning over three decades in western North Carolina, attorney Mark R. Melrose is the owner of Melrose Law, PLLC - Personal Injury Attorneys, located in Waynesville, North Carolina. Additionally, he was honored with the pro bono award twice in the 30th Judicial District, in 1992 and 1998, and led the district's pro bono committee. Over the years, he has dedicated his time to volunteer work for the North Carolina mock trial competitions for high school students.
Mr. Melrose possesses numerous accolades in his professional career and has been a frequent speaker at continuing education workshops across North Carolina. He is also a proficient author. Moreover, he has been rated distinguished through Martindale-Hubbell and holds a "Superb" rating on Avvo.
After completing his bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, in 1985, Mr. Melrose graduated summa cum laude. Following this accomplishment, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill in 1989.
