Michael Joyner

Michael Joyner serves as an associate attorney at Knoll Leibel LLP in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he practices in a diverse range of legal areas, including, general civil litigation, probate, contracts, estate planning and family law. Hailing from Montana, he dedicated four years to the United States Navy before embarking on his academic journey. During his service, he was stationed on the USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60), an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer based in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

In 2011, Mr. Joyner obtained a Bachelor of Arts in history from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Upon completing his education, he initially joined a law firm in Dickinson, North Dakota, where he began honing his legal skills and building a reputation for excellence. In 2018, he became a valuable member of Knoll Leibel LLP.

Mr. Joyner is authorized to practice law in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana. Additionally, he holds admissions to the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of North Dakota, the United States District Court for the District of Montana and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Montana.
