He pursued his legal education at the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he graduated with honors in 1993 and subsequently received his license to practice law in North Dakota and Minnesota.

Upon completing his legal education, Mr. Pagel began his career as an associate attorney at a prominent law firm in Grand Forks, where he concentrated on personal injury litigation for four years. In 1997, he founded the Pagel Hager Law Firm in Bismarck, where he continues to deliver exceptional legal representation.

Mr. Pagel's professional endeavors extend to active participation with the American Association for Justice, the State Bar Association of North Dakota (SBAND) and the Burleigh County Bar Association. His contribution to the legal community is further evidenced by his roles on the board of the joint SBAND and the North Dakota Medical Association, as well as his position as vice chair of the Inquiry Committee West.
