Jeffrey Gunkelman

Mr. Gunkelman is dedicated to guiding individuals through starting and expanding their businesses. He also invests considerable effort into helping clients with their estate planning and real estate needs. Prior to co-founding Kennelly Business Law, he spent a year as a clerk for judges in the East Central Judicial District and later gained experience at a local law firm.

With an undergraduate degree in banking and financial economics from the University of North Dakota, Mr. Gunkelman's academic journey was fueled by a passion for supporting business owners. This led him to pursue a Juris Doctor at the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he concentrated on business and tax law. 

During his law school tenure, Mr. Gunkelman had the honor of externing for Judge Kermit Bye of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and working as a summer law clerk at the state's largest law firm. His academic excellence earned him a spot in the Order of the Coif (top 10% of his class), and he graduated cum laude with distinction.

Licensed to practice law in both North Dakota and Minnesota, Mr. Gunkelman is a respected member of the legal community. He is actively involved with the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Cass County Bar Association and the Red River Valley Estate Planning Council.
