Tressie Brazil

As the founder of the Brazil Law Office PLLC, Tressie Brazil is dedicated to serving clients in Fargo and Cass County, North Dakota, as well as in Moorhead and Clay County, Minnesota. She focuses her practice on family law, generally handling cases that involve divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, modifications of support orders, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Ms. Brazil also accepts estate planning cases.

In 2003, Ms. Brazil graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. She then went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

Ms. Brazil knows that legal issues pertaining to people’s children and families can be difficult to deal with. For that reason, she takes the time to listen to her clients’ concerns and helps them to define their goals. Ms. Brazil provides her clients with the understanding and support they need to make important decisions that may affect them for the rest of their lives. With each case she handles, Ms. Brazil strives to offer her clients options for resolutions that meet their short- and long-term needs. In order to better serve her clients, Ms. Brazil is a qualified neutral mediator, a guardian ad litem and a certified parenting investigator.

Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Ms. Brazil. She is a member of the Cass County Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the State Bar Association of North Dakota. Ms. Brazil also volunteers with Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, offering clients legal representation for reduced fees.
