At Obral, Silk & Pal Injury & Accident Lawyers in Akron, Ohio, Alexander L. Pal has built his entire legal career around a single, unwavering commitment: standing up for individuals harmed by the carelessness or misconduct of others. For nearly two decades, he has represented clients navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives, including:

  • Automobile, motorcycle and trucking collisions
  • Traumatic brain injuries
  • Medical malpractice claims
  • Workplace accidents
  • Wrongful death suits on behalf of grieving families

Mr. Pal's academic path laid the groundwork for that mission long before he ever stepped into a courtroom. He earned his Bachelor of Science summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University, graduating at the top of his class, before going on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. It was there, amid the rigor of legal training, that his commitment to service truly took shape.

Rather than treating law school as a purely academic pursuit, Mr. Pal immersed himself in community legal aid work, dedicating countless hours to assisting those who could not otherwise afford representation. His efforts did not go unnoticed: he was honored with the Cleveland-Marshall Pro Bono Service Award, a distinction that reflected not just his legal aptitude but the depth of his character.

That early dedication to service has remained the throughline of his career. He treats every client as family, providing the same personalized attention and fierce advocacy he cultivated during his pro bono years. He joined Obral, Silk & Pal Injury & Accident Lawyers in 2008, rising to partner and, as of January 1, 2026, becoming owner and managing attorney.

A skilled trial and appellate attorney, Mr. Pal has argued before multiple Ohio Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio and holds licenses in Ohio, Texas and Maryland. He belongs to the American Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys.
