Jeananne M. Wickham is an associate attorney with Amer Cunningham Co., L.P.A. Her areas of practice cover a wide range of matters, including business transactional matters, such as commercial leases, and civil litigation matters, including personal injury, business litigation, and wrongful death. Ms. Wickham’s clients range from individuals to multi-generational companies. She previously served as Judicial Magistrate/Attorney to Judge Kani Harvey Hightower at the Summit County Domestic Relations Court.
Within her first six months of being licensed, Ms. Wickham was part of the trial team in the Gibson Bros., Inc., et al. v. Oberlin College, et al. six-week long jury trial in Lorain County, which resulted in a total verdict of $44,298,000 and $6,565,531.79 in attorneys’ fees and expenses.
While at The University of Akron School of Law, Ms. Wickham refined her oral advocacy skills as a member and President of the nationally acclaimed Mock Trial Team, where she made multiple regional and national appearances with her team and finished second in the country at Nationals of the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Ms. Wickham also had the honor of participating on behalf of The University of Akron School of Law at Baylor Law’s Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition, where she was awarded the Professionalism Award.
Ms. Wickham was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2018 and is licensed to practice in all Ohio state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
