Standing steadfast and ready to help his clients in their contentious legal issues, Shane Lawson leaves no stone unturned in his pursuit to alleviate their worries and give them the peace of mind they deserve. At the Fried Law Group in Beachwood, Ohio, he emphasizes his practice primarily on estate and trust litigation, including in matters pertaining to breach of fiduciary duty, voiding beneficiary designation, will and trust contest actions, and executor and trustee removal actions. Furthermore, he is well-equipped to represent lawyers in grievance proceedings and legal malpractice cases.
Mr. Lawson completed his undergraduate studies cum laude in 2006, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University. He went on to attend the Case Western Reserve University Law School, where he cut his teeth and expanded on his legal and practical knowledge through his active involvement on campus. He received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2010, and prior to graduating law school, he was the senior editor for the university’s law review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
A consummate professional through and through, Mr. Lawson is methodical in his approach and maintains a calm and stoic atmosphere, even in the face of mounting legal challenges. He is also involved within his legal community, with close affiliations to organizations such as the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the William K. Thomas American Inn of Court and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association – the latter of which he served as chair of the Ethics and Professionalism Committee. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
