Anthony J. DeGirolamo

Anthony J. Degirolamo is the founder of the well-known Canton law firm of Anthony J. Degirolamo, Attorney at Law. Since founding his firm, Mr. Degirolamo has focused his practice entirely on bankruptcy law by assisting individuals, business owners and corporate clients as they seek debt relief through Chapter 11 bankruptcies and out-of-court restructuring.

Mr. Degirolamo began his legal career in 1992 after earning his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his approval to practice law in the state of Ohio. In addition to his approval to practice law in all of Ohio's state courtrooms, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit have also issued their approvals for him to practice in their courtrooms.

Over the course of his nearly 25-year legal career, he has helped countless clients find financial stability using the protections offered by the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Thanks to his dedication to his profession, attorney Degirolamo has earned the respect of both his clients and his peers, which has resulted in a number of honors and awards. Mr. Degirolamo is an active member of the legal community who has served on the Stark County Bar Association's Executive Committee and as chairman of its Bankruptcy Committee. In addition, he is a regular guest speaker at legal events, and he has served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee since 2003.
