Chrissy Dunn Dutton

Chrissy Dunn Dutton is a shareholder and attorney with the law firm of Buechner Haffer Meyers & Koenig Co., LPA, situated in Cincinnati, Ohio. Extending her practice throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, she is a litigator representing clients primarily on family law issues and a wide range of civil litigation matters, including commercial and real estate law, landlord-tenant issues, creditor and debtor rights, workers’ compensation and personal law.

Practicing law for 17-plus years, Ms. Dutton has extensive trial experience and firmly advocates on behalf of her clients. She has a genuine concern for the legal issues affecting her clients and is aware of the emotional toll that comes with it. She is trained in collaborative law and utilizes it to help clients resolve their sensitive family law issues in a less contentious manner. As a compassionate lawyer, she is receptive to the needs of her clients and guides them through each step of the legal procedure. 

Ms. Dutton graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University in 2001 and earned her Juris Doctor from the Northern Kentucky University–Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2005. Ms. Dutton is admitted to practice before the state, federal and appellate courts in all of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana courts, the United States Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. 

Active in the legal community, Ms. Dutton is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, where she currently serves as the chair of technology and a member of the communications subcommittee. In addition to her routine practice, she actively volunteers at her alma mater where she studied law and is a member of the dean’s board of visitors. She is also an active member of the Charities Guild of Northern Kentucky, a nonprofit organization that aims at providing shoes to local school children.
