Michael Kahan

As a founder and co-managing partner at Jones Kahan Law, LLC, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael S. Kahan focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing clients in a broad range of personal injury matters, including auto, motorcycle and trucking accidents. He also handles cases involving serious spinal cord injuries, dog bites, premises liability and wrongful death. In addition to his plaintiff-side work, he has experience in civil litigation defense.

Mr. Kahan earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business before pursuing his legal education at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor. His academic background combines business education with legal training, providing a foundation for his work in civil disputes and litigation.

Mr. Kahan was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2013 and Kentucky in 2020. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. These admissions allow him to represent clients in state and federal court proceedings across both jurisdictions.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Kahan maintains active involvement in professional organizations.
