Paul J. Minnillo

Licensed to practice law in Ohio since 1995 and in Kentucky since 2013, Paul J. Minnillo is a founding partner at Minnillo Law Group (formerly Minnillo & Jenkins), based in Cincinnati, Ohio. His practice primarily represents individuals and small businesses in Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Over the years, he has built one of the most successful bankruptcy practices in Southern Ohio.

Additionally, Mr. Minnillo is notable among bankruptcy attorneys in the region for his attempts to discharge student loans, having succeeded in multiple cases. He has also distinguished himself by managing complex personal and small business Chapter 11 cases, handling class actions in bankruptcy courts, and pursuing a variety of creditor abuse claims in bankruptcy court.

Mr. Minnillo earned his Juris Doctor from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1995. Furthermore, he has been admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Kentucky. During his time in law school, he was a member of the prestigious Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. Before pursuing a legal career, he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in French in 1992.

A respected figure within the legal community, Mr. Minnillo is actively involved with the Cincinnati Bar Association – Bankruptcy Committee, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Clermont County Bar Association.  Committed to community service, he participates in pro bono and reduced fee legal services through the Legal Aid Society and the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
