Attorney Robert W. Buechner is the co-founder and president of Buechner Haffer Meyers & Koenig Co., LPA, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He focusses his practice in various areas, including business law, corporate law, charitable giving, estate planning and tax planning. He serves a wide variety of clients in Cincinnati and throughout Ohio.
Mr. Buechner has been a licensed attorney since 1974 and has more than 40 years of experience. He is admitted in Ohio, Florida and Kentucky as well as before the U.S. Tax Court. Over the course of his career, he has authored several books and articles and lectured extensively at seminars and conferences.
Recognized for his accomplishments in the legal profession, Mr. Buechner has achieved an AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He is also the first-ever recipient of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s John W. Warrington Community Service Award and was named alumnus of the year at the Cincinnati Country Day School.
Mr. Buechner is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Cincinnati Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Kentucky Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Over the years, he has served in leadership positions for several community groups and volunteered his time to the Cincinnati Athletic Club, the Cincinnati Country Club, The Mercantile Library, the Queen City Club and the Rotary Club of Cincinnati.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in education from Princeton University, Mr. Buechner received his law degree from The University of Michigan Law School. Before founding Buechner Haffer Meyers & Koenig Co., LPA, he served as a commissioned officer for the U.S. Public Health Service.
