Scott A. Rubenstein

As an attorney at Rubenstein & Thurman, L.P.A., Scott A. Rubenstein is committed to representing clients in Cincinnati, Ohio. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English and political science from the University of Colorado Boulder, Mr. Rubenstein went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1999.

For more than 20 years, Mr. Rubenstein has worked to preserve the rights of people who are facing criminal charges. As a former assistant prosecuting attorney with the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office, he understands how the criminal law process works and the tactics the prosecution uses in a case. Mr. Rubenstein has experience in all stages of a case, including bail hearings, arraignment, appeals and probation violations.

Working closely with clients, Mr. Rubenstein takes the time to understand a client's goals for the case. Due to his aggressive defense and strict attention to detail, he has successfully represented hundreds of people in criminal law matters, securing outcomes that include reduced and dismissed charges. Active in the legal community, Mr. Rubenstein holds memberships with the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
