Ashley L. Jones

Ashley L. Jones is the founder of AJLJ Law, a criminal defense firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. Her practice focuses on criminal law, DUI/OVI, expungement, civil protection orders and firearm restoration. Serving the Cleveland and Akron metropolitan areas, she is dedicated to defending individuals who are accused of crimes and offering strong advocacy against what she perceives as a bullying criminal justice system.

Raised in a small Ohio town, Ms. Jones chose Cleveland as her home after graduating from Ohio University and Cleveland State University (CSU) College of Law. Her passion for justice led her to establish her law firm right after law school, where she has effectively advocated for clients in a wide range of cases, spanning from minor traffic offenses to major felony charges. Her practice extends across Northeast Ohio, having appeared in courts from Geauga County to Stark County.

Ms. Jones is known for her tenacity and compassion. She approaches each case with persistence and a deep sense of fairness, treating her clients with respect and understanding, and ensuring clear communication without legal jargon. Outside of her practice, Ms. Jones is actively involved in several professional organizations. She serves as the president-elect and chair of membership for the CSU Law Alumni Association, and she is on the board of directors of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Additionally, she chairs Continuing Legal Education for the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and coordinates the Solo Practice Incubator at CSU College of Law. She is also a member of the William K. Thomas American Inn of Court.
