Attorney Profile

Dana M. Paris is an attorney at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy. From the firm's office in Cleveland, Ohio, she focuses her practice exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation, providing representation to clients throughout the state who have been harmed by the negligence of other persons or entities. The cases that Ms. Paris has handled in this regard have arisen out of incidents involving medical malpractice as well as truck and other motor vehicle crashes.

During her career, Ms. Paris has been able to obtain several favorable settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of her clients. In a premises liability case, for example, she sat second chair in a trial that resulted in a jury award in excess of $600,00. In a case that involved a semitruck striking a young girl who was riding her bicycle, a mediated settlement in the amount of $1.5 million was obtained, and she sat second chair in a medical malpractice trial that ended up being settled for a confidential amount.

Ms. Paris has written several articles for CATA News, a publication of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, and she serves on the board of directors of that organization. Her other professional memberships include the Ohio Association for Justice, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the William K. Thomas Inn of Court and the Ohio State Bar Association.

Ms. Paris attended Miami University as an undergraduate, and she received a Bachelor of Arts in 2009. She then enrolled at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, part of Cleveland State University, where she clerked for her present firm before being awarded her Juris Doctor in 2012. Ms. Paris is admitted to practice before all Ohio state courts as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
