James A. Lowe

James A. Lowe serves as the founding partner of Lowe Trial Lawyers in Cleveland, Ohio. A nationally acclaimed trial advocate, he has devoted his career to product liability, automobile safety litigation and catastrophic personal injury cases. As an author, he has contributed multiple authoritative texts and treatises to the legal community, and his peers frequently engage him as a speaker at national and international symposia on product liability and motor vehicle defect litigation.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Lowe has successfully tried cases in state and federal courts across the nation, securing numerous multimillion-dollar verdicts and negotiating settlements that have collectively surpassed $100 million. His courtroom prowess and strategic acumen have earned him board certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also a past president of the Ohio Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Association for Justice and the Attorneys Information Exchange Group.

In recognition of his leadership and commitment to professional excellence, Mr. Lowe holds the title of Master Bencher Emeritus of the William K. Thomas Inn of Court. He has been honored as a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American College of Board Certified Attorneys. In 2020, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law inducted him into its prestigious Hall of Fame.

Mr. Lowe earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Cleveland State University College of Law in 1972 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1967.
