Ladi Williams

Ladi Williams, a partner at Merriman Legal, LLC, is renowned for his assertive approach in the courtroom and his unwavering commitment to his clients. From the onset of his career, Mr. Williams has been devoted to not only achieving justice for his clients but also to the broader community through his legal work. He leads the immigration law practice at Merriman Legal, LLC, where he represents a diverse clientele ranging from individuals and families to corporations, covering aspects such as family-based immigration, deportation defense and employment-based immigration. Also experienced in bankruptcy matters, he is admitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Mr. Williams is deeply involved in the legal community through his affiliations with several prestigious organizations. He serves as the immediate past president of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA) and is an active member of the Ohio Association for Justice (OAJ). Furthermore, he contributes his skills to the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland as part of the Volunteer Lawyer Program. 

Since being admitted to the Ohio State Bar Association in 2007, Mr. Williams has consistently demonstrated his legal acumen. His educational background is equally impressive. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English from Kent State University, where he was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. He went on to earn his J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law in December 2006. During his law studies, he was an active member of the moot court team and served as a Judicial Extern to Chief Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
