Lucas D. Trott

In a relatively short period of time, Lucas D. Trott has made immense strides within his legal community to emerge as a stalwart legal advocate for his clients through all the trials and tribulations they face in their criminal defense matters. At the law office of Friedman Nemecek Long & Grant, L.L.C., in Cleveland, Ohio, he is well-equipped to take on a wide range of criminal cases. 

Mr. Trott completed his undergraduate studies at Ashland University, where he was part of the Student Senate and the orientation team, as well as the Ashbrook Scholar Program. After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science in 2018, he went on to enroll in The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he honed his legal talents and bolstered his foundation through his active participation in many on-campus activities, remaining a cornerstone of his practice today. He received his Juris Doctor in 2021, and in the same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Ohio.

With a penchant for finding innovative solutions to problems that require an out-of-the-box approach, Mr. Trott understands what steps need to be taken to give his clients the upper hand in their cases. During his time in law school, he served as a legal extern at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas and as a law clerk at his law school’s Student Legal Services – as well as a felony law clerk at the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office – greatly informing him of how the local judiciary he would soon be embedded within operates.

Mr. Trott is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and holds membership in the Ohio State Bar Association.
