Ryan Coady

Ryan M. Coady is an attorney at the firm Walter Haverfield and works out of the firm’s office located in Cleveland, Ohio. He brings almost a decade of experience to the table and extends his business litigation service to small and midsized businesses in Cleveland and Columbus, assisting them with mergers and acquisitions, contracts and transactions involving financing, real estate, governance and corporate organization.

Mr. Coady excelled in his academics and received both his bachelor’s and a law degree with high honors. He majored in finance and business pre-law and graduated cum laude, obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Ohio University in 2010, and later received his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the University of Dayton School of Law. While at law school, he interned at several private legal firms and volunteered at the Law Office of the Montgomery County Public Defender, allowing him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the nation's legal system and valuable hands-on experience in the field.

After being licensed by the bar to practice law, Mr. Coady joined an internationally reputed firm headquartered in Columbus and served as an associate attorney for five years. Here at the firm, he worked closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals and navigated through numerous substantive issues. In early 2019, he moved to another firm in the same city and focused on providing sound counsel to professionals and businesses on various legal challenges they encounter.
