Attorney Barry H. Wolinetz, a founder of Wolinetz & Horvath in Columbus, Ohio, has more than four decades of experience in the area of family law. Mr. Wolinetz handles cases involving divorce, adoption, child support, custody, paternity, property division and other family law-related matters. He also has business, real estate and general litigation experience and represents a wide diversity of clients in Columbus and throughout the central Ohio area.
Mr. Wolinetz graduated from the Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and also received a master’s degree from the Ohio State University. Mr. Wolinetz has been admitted to practice law in Ohio since 1971.
Following law school, Mr. Wolinetz gained valuable legal experience as both an associate and partner at Ohio-based private firms before opening Wolinetz & Horvath in 2005. In addition to the state of Ohio, he is admitted to practice before federal courts including the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Throughout his career, he has also been admitted to practice on a limited basis in a variety of other jurisdictions for the cases he has worked on.
Mr. Wolinetz has been involved in many different areas of civil litigation. Aside family law, he has also tried cases involving bankruptcy, employment, real estate and tax matters.
