Mr. Zamora graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio and The University of Akron School of Law. Since 1995, he has been practicing law in the private sector, before which he served as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General, where he passionately represented the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services in defense litigation before esteemed bodies such as the State Personnel Board of Review, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Unemployment Compensation Review Commission.
An accomplished attorney, Mr. Zamora’s legal career also encompasses invaluable experience working in the Workers' Compensation Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office. In this role, he provided dedicated representation to the Ohio Industrial Commission and the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. He successfully defended these entities in numerous ongoing lawsuits within the courts of common pleas, the Ohio Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio.
In recognition of his commitment to his field, Mr. Zamora became one of the first 144 attorneys in Ohio to achieve the prestigious designation of "Certified Specialist" by the Ohio State Bar Association in 1999. Furthermore, he has been AV Preeminent* rated through Martindale-Hubbell and holds a “Superb” rating on Avvo.
Mr. Zamora’s legal practice extends to both Ohio and Texas, as he is licensed to practice law in both states. He actively participates in professional legal organizations such as the Ohio Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas.
In addition, Mr. Zamora’s dedication to his clients has led to his admission to practice law in various federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, and the Southern District of Texas. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
An integral part of Mr. Zamora’s legal practice is representing police officers who have been injured in the line of duty while serving with the City of Columbus and other departments across Ohio. This work is deeply personal to him, as he is the brother of two former lieutenants of the Houston Police Department.
