Dennis E. Horvath

Dennis E. Horvath is an attorney and founder of Wolinetz & Horvath in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Horvath focuses his practice on family law and represents individuals and families in cases involving divorce, child support, custody, prenuptial agreements, property division, spousal support and other family related legal matters in Columbus and throughout central Ohio.

Mr. Horvath holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and earned his law degree from Capital University Law School in Columbus. He has been admitted to practice law in Ohio since 2001 and is also licensed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He has dedicated his practice to the area of family law and domestic relations since becoming licensed and has represented a diverse variety of Ohio clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Horvath has been recognized for his contributions to his legal community. He has been named in the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” list and was also listed as one of the areas “Top Lawyers” in Columbus CEO magazine in 2015. During that same year, Mr. Horvath received an Avvo clients’ choice award. In addition, he has also been featured in Rue Ratings’ Best Attorneys of America. Mr. Horvath is also listed in Best Lawyers in America from 2018 to present.

In addition to running his family law practice, Mr. Horvath is actively involved in a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Central Ohio Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He also belongs to the Columbus Rotary.
