Heather B. Sobel

Heather B. Sobel has been working with families in Columbus, Ohio, for nearly a decade, helping them navigate intricate family law issues such as divorce, child custody, child support, high-asset business valuation and property division. A magna cum laude graduate of the Ohio State University, Ms. Sobel majored in communication and psychology and earned her bachelor’s degree in 2007. She then obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2012. She also completed a course on dispute resolution at Oxford University in England. During law school, she was chosen as a Moritz Scholar and a member of Delta Delta Delta.

Authorized to practice law in Ohio since 2013, Ms. Sobel is proficient at determining what cases are eligible for alternative dispute resolution and what cases must be litigated in court. She offers sound advice and counseling to families and has earned a reputation for being pragmatic and honest.
