Jacintha Kraft Balch is an Ohio Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust. She has had forty years of experience working in estate planning. As part of that estate planning, Jacintha has helped clients in all aspects of estate planning and probate. She created Balch Law in 1991 to serve as a boutique law firm offering high quality estate planning, probate and trust services to her clients. She holds the highest rating (AV5) with Martindale Hubbell. Born in Findlay, Ohio, Jacintha graduated from Wittenberg University (summa cum laude), and from The University of Michigan Law School (cum laude). She started her career at the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, working in the areas of estate planning, probate and health care law. She served as head of Huntington National Bank’s trust estate-planning department for six years, before forming her own law firm, Balch Law. She served from 2012 through 2017 as Co-Chair of The Columbus Foundation’s Professional Advisory Board and has just completed ten years on the Franklin Park Conservatory Board of Trustees and served for eight years as a Board Member of Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio. She is an active member of the Columbus Bar Association, having served as Chairperson of the Estate Planning Committee, and of the Ohio Bar Association. She is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education events and for community groups.
