Jalyn Parks

Jalyn Parks, the visionary behind The J. Parks Firm LLC in Columbus, Ohio, dedicates her practice to supporting clients nationwide with a comprehensive range of legal services. Her areas of focus include intellectual property, business and corporate law, and entertainment and sports law. She was granted the right to practice law in Georgia in 2016, followed by Ohio in 2018.

With a deep-seated commitment to transforming her clients’ circumstances rather than merely pursuing financial gains, Ms. Parks shines in building relationships and connecting individuals with valuable resources. Her approachable nature and genuine empathy enable her to deeply understand and connect with her clients, fostering stronger, more meaningful interactions. 

Ms. Parks' approach to law is fueled by a genuine passion for aiding individuals and positively impacting the community. After completing her undergraduate degree at Wittenberg University in 2005, Ms. Parks pursued her legal education and obtained her Juris Doctor from Cleveland State University College of Law in 2014. Embracing a daring leap in 2019, she relied on her well-honed abilities to transition from a corporate environment to founding The J. Parks Firm LLC. 

As the Solo-Small Firm Section chair of the John M. Langston Bar Association, Ms. Parks has played a significant role in multiple legal communities, including the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. Her dedication and influence earned her a spot in the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in 2019 and 2020.
