Michael Probst

Michael S. Probst is the managing attorney at the Columbus, Ohio, law firm Probst Law Office. Concentrating his practice exclusively on criminal defense, he offers top-notch services to those accused of DUI/DWI/OVI, speeding, traffic offenses, domestic violence, sex crimes, drug crimes, juvenile crimes, white collar crimes, probation violations, parole violations as well as other federal and state crimes.

With a focus on criminology and Spanish, Mr. Probst pursued his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University. He graduated in 1994 and then completed his Juris Doctor at the Capital University Law School in 1999. During his time there, he served as a member of the Capital University Law Review and the chief justice of the Moot Court Board. 

Admitted to practice in Ohio since 1999, Mr. Probst has also handled a number of cases before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Soon after law school, he worked as a staff attorney at the Ohio Third District Court of Appeals and later as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Union County, Ohio.

A valued member of his legal community, Mr. Probst holds memberships in the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association (now Central Ohio Association for Justice), the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
