Ronald Petroff

Born in Cleveland and now serving as managing partner at Petroff Law Offices, LLC, in Columbus, Ohio, Ronald Petroff brings more than a decade of dedicated family law experience to every client matter. Admitted to practice before all state courts and agencies in Ohio, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, he is committed to guiding families through their most challenging transitions with skill and compassion.

Focusing on high-asset divorces, contested custody disputes, marital agreements, adoptions, grandparents’ rights and post-decree modifications, Mr. Petroff balances thorough legal analysis with genuine empathy. Whether negotiating complex settlements or advocating assertively in court, he strives to achieve practical, fair outcomes that protect his clients’ interests and preserve their peace of mind.

Mr. Petroff earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in American history and political science from Vanderbilt University in 2003. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, where he graduated in 2006. During law school, he sharpened his advocacy skills on both the moot court and trial competition teams and earned an alternative dispute resolution certificate, laying the groundwork for his collaborative approach in practice.

A committed member of the legal community, Mr. Petroff belongs to the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys, the American Society of Legal Advocates, the Columbus Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. He serves clients throughout the Columbus region with integrity, respect,and personalized attention.
