Samuel Schlein

Samuel Schlein is a partner at Marshall Forman and Schlein LLC in Columbus, Ohio, who focuses his practice on matters involving civil rights violations, discrimination, employment and labor, police misconduct, retaliation, sexual harassment, prison conditions and wrongful termination. 

Mr. Schlein has over seven years of experience in the legal field, and he provides dedicated and knowledgeable counsel to his clients. He understands the psychological and financial impact that employment law matters can have on his clients, and he is a tireless and zealous advocate fighting for the rights of his clients. 

With a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Pittsburgh, Mr. Schlein graduated magna cum laude with dean’s list honors in all semesters. He obtained his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from the Capital University Law School. Prior to joining Marshall and Forman LLC as an attorney, Mr. Schlein served as a law clerk in the same law firm, and currently serves as a partner. 

While in law school, Mr. Schlein graduated with dean’s list honors. He was also the recipient of the CALI Awards and the Capital University Law School Awards. As an active engager in the legal community, Mr. Schlein has memberships in the Columbus Bar Association Employment Law Group, the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association. 

Handling cases involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, Family and Medical Leave Act and Ohio’s Laws Against Discrimination, Mr. Schlein has gained invaluable experience working with agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission and the Ohio Unemployment Compensation Review Commission.
