He continues to serve on the advisory board of Dayton’s Salvation Army and as chair of Friends of Levitt Pavilion.  He is the former Mayor of Oakwood, a suburb of Dayton.

Mr. Ireland is active in the Dayton Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Lawyers Club of Dayton, Ohio, and the Litigation Counsel of America.  He is a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, the American Bar Foundation and the International Society of Barristers, and a member of the Advisory Council to the University of Dayton School of Law.

Mr. Ireland received a bachelor’s degree from Denison University and earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. He holds a license to practice law before all Ohio state courts, several federal courts and the Supreme Court of the United States.
