He has maintained strong ties to his alma mater, serving as the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Dayton's current president, and from 2013 to 2016 he was on the national board of the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association. Upon graduation, Mr. Foss clerked for two judges on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana before entering private practice. Admitted to practice in Ohio and Indiana, Mr. Foos is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana. He is an active participant in several legal organizations, including the Indiana state, Ohio state and Dayton Bar Association, and he served on the Ohio Supreme Court Task Force on Commercial Dockets. An active volunteer with community organizations, Mr. Foos gives freely of his time to agencies throughout Indiana and in Dayton that provide assistance to indigent families and individuals.
