Matthew T. Tipton

An attorney at StachlerHarmon, based in Dayton, Ohio, Matthew T. His business law practice includes advising companies on formation, governance and dispute resolution, while his personal injury work focuses on advocating for individuals seeking compensation after accidents or injuries. 

Mr. Tipton also assists clients with estate planning and probate matters, helping them protect assets and plan for the future. Additionally, he has experience defending college students facing criminal charges and providing mediation services aimed at resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.

Before joining StachlerHarmon, Mr. Tipton gained valuable judicial experience as an extern for Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton at the Supreme Court of Ohio. This role provided him with insight into appellate decision-making and strengthened his legal research and analytical skills.

Mr. Tipton earned his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2008. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2011, where he served as managing editor of the University of Dayton Law Review. 

Admitted to practice law in Ohio, Mr. Tipton is also authorized to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He remains active within the legal community through his memberships in the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Dayton Bar Association.
