Attorney Clifford M. Farrell is the owner of the Manring & Farrell law firm, which has offices in Columbus, Lebanon and Lima, Ohio. Advocating on behalf of the rights and entitlements of injured and disabled employees and veterans across the state, Mr. Farrell devotes his practice exclusively to Social Security Disability and veterans benefits law in order to help his clients secure the benefits they deserve.

A 1978 graduate of Moravian College (now Moravian University), Mr. Farrell attended Capital University Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1982. The Ohio State Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice in Pennsylvania as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Ohio, U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third, Fourth and Sixth Circuits, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. In 2019 he was admitted to practice law in Virginia and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. He is also admitted to numerous other Federal District Courts around the United States.
Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Mr. Farrell has written extensively and conducted numerous lectures and seminars on a variety of legal topics, and he previously served on the adjunct faculty at Columbus State Community College. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, also serving as an officer on the Board. He is also a member of several local, state and national bar associations, and previously served as chair of the Social Security section of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers (now Ohio Association for Justice).

- Cole v. Commissioner of SSA, 661 F.3d 931 (6th Cir. 2011). Published decision. Judge at an administrative hearing received evidence but failed to properly evaluate client's medical conditions, failed to follow Social Security rules and regulations concerning evaluating medical evidence. Case remanded; benefits awarded, 2011
- Carter v. Commissioner of Social Security, Social Security consents to a voluntary remand from the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, 2021
- Cliff is sought out by attorneys seeking assistance with Federal Court appeals in the US District Courts for both the Northern and Southern District of Ohio, and occasionally handles appeals in the District Courts for Virginia, the District of Columbia and Kentucky. He also pursues appeals in the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, recently obtaining a voluntary remand by the Commissioner of Social Security in a case pending before that Court., 2017
