Andrea R. Young

Andrea R. Young has built her legal career around one core principle: advocacy should restore stability, dignity, and momentum to people whose lives have been disrupted by injury. Her commitment to personal injury law is shaped by both professional experience and personal understanding of how sudden accidents can affect individuals and families.

Andrea focuses her practice on representing individuals and families in a wide range of personal injury matters, including Animal Bites, Car Accidents, Truck Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, and Wrongful Death cases. She approaches each case with careful attention to detail and a client-centered mindset, helping injured individuals understand their options and pursue meaningful recovery after a serious injury or loss.

A lifelong Toledo native, Andrea’s path to the courtroom was defined by discipline and perseverance. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies and spent several years working as a paralegal for local attorneys. That hands-on experience reinforced her desire to become an attorney and provided early insight into effective client advocacy. Andrea later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law while working full time, attending evening classes, and raising her children. She graduated magna cum laude in the top ten percent of her class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

During law school, Andrea was actively involved in service and leadership, including participation in the Student Bar Association and co-chairing the Pro Bono Committee. She also competed on the Intellectual Property Moot Court team, gaining experience in advanced legal research, brief writing, and oral advocacy through national competition. After earning her Ohio law license, Andrea began her legal career handling complex mass tort and multidistrict litigation, developing strong analytical and case management skills.

Andrea joined Charles Boyk Law Offices in 2019, where she continues to advocate for injured clients with empathy, preparation, and determination. In 2021, she expanded her practice by becoming licensed to practice law in Michigan. Her work has earned repeated recognition, including being named a Super Lawyers honoree in 2022 and 2023.

Outside of her legal practice, Andrea enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her family. She can often be found supporting her three children at their sporting events and cheering on Notre Dame football during college football season.
