Eric M. Brown

Eric M. Brown is one of the founding members of Wolinetz | Horvath | Brown. Together, Eric and the attorneys at the firm bring more than 100 years of combined experience to the cases they handle. Eric has been practicing domestic relations law, exclusively, since 2007. Accordingly, he handles matters in all areas of family law including divorce, dissolution, custody proceedings, post-decree matters, child & spousal support cases and appellate matters. 

Eric attended The Ohio State University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. He then earned his law degree at Capital University Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude. Eric is admitted to practice law in all Ohio state courts and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Although Eric's practice is focused in Central Ohio, his cases (and relationships with the benches and the bar) extend to dozens of counties throughout Ohio.

Eric is an OSBA Certified Specialist in Family Relations Law, a distinction he has carried for more than 10 years. This certification requires the passage of a written examination, demonstration of a high level of involvement in family relations law and favorable evaluations by colleagues and judges who are familiar with his work. Peer recognition also includes Eric's continued acclaim as a Super Lawyer, including as a Top 50 Lawyer in Columbus and a Top 100 Lawyer in Ohio. Eric has presented at a number of seminars, including at the Family Law Law Institute for the OSBA and the Domestic Relations Judge & Magistrate Winter Conference.
