Mr. Kilburn graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and served as a staff writer and comment editor for the University of Dayton Law Review.

Before practicing at Rittgers & Rittgers, Mr. Kilburn worked as a law clerk at the Warren County Court of Common Pleas Probate-Juvenile Division. He was licensed to practice law in Ohio in 2013 and is qualified to appear before all Ohio state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

He lives in Loveland, Ohio with his fiancee.

    • Mr. Kilburn filed a pro bono appellate brief  and argued on behalf of his client in Ohio's 12th District Court of Appeals., 2015
    • Mr. Kilburn filed a motion for jail time credit on behalf of his client in the Warren County Court of Common Pleas.  This was a pro bono project through the Ohio Public Defender's office.  The court granted the defendant's motion and as a result, his projected release date was 63 days earlier than it would have been had the motion not been successfully briefed and argued., 2015
    • Mr. Kilburn represented the plaintiff in Vipperman v. JNZ Wrecker Service LLC, a pro bono case in which the plaintiff's vehicle was wrongfully confiscated by a local police department.  The court ordered the vehicle be returned to the plaintiff and that plaintiff was not liable for any towing and storage fees.   , 2015
