Matt Metzger

Matt Metzger is a trial attorney who has been named as a National Top 100 Trial Lawyer, America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, Top 25 Brain Injury Lawyers, to the Super Lawyers list, and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He has obtained over $100 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients, including two of the five largest verdicts in Hamilton County (Cincinnati)—a $25 million wrongful death verdict against Total Quality Logistics in 2026 and a $22.3 million business fraud verdict in 2025. Matt's personal injury practice focuses on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking and commercial vehicle accidents, premises liability, and workplace-related injury claims. His business litigation practice represents plaintiff-side clients, typically on a contingency fee basis, in breach of contract, shareholder disputes, and business tort matters.  

Before joining Wolterman Law Office as a partner, Matt was an attorney at Keating Muething and Klekamp, one of Cincinnati's largest corporate law firms, where he handled complex business transactions. That background gives him a distinct advantage in his client's cases against corporate defendants, where understanding how large companies make decisions is critical. 

Matt received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, magna cum laude, and his B.B.A. in Economics from the University of Iowa, with distinction, where he was a varsity scholarship athlete. He has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers list, the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, and Cincinnati Magazine's Top Lawyers. He is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice and the Cincinnati Bar Association.
