Ms. Steiner graduated from the College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in business economics in 1979. At Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, she graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor, and in 2012, the National Elder Law Foundation certified her as an Elder Law Attorney. She was named VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women and for three years, was given the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Integrity in Business.  

A member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, Elder Law Answers, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Ms. Steiner is a frequent speaker on issues of estate planning and elder law. Within the American Bar Association, she is a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section, as well as the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Estate Planning Probate and Trust Section of the Akron Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

  • I was a contributing author for two local senior's magazines: "The Times of Your Life" and "50 Something Magazine" from approximately 2008 through 2012. Articles were on all the various elder law topics. My name was mentioned on the Today Show on April 12, 2010, with Kathy Lee and Hoda in Jean Chatzky's Mini Money Makeover portion for assisting an Ohio couple with special needs planning for their downs syndrome son. Jean also interviewed me for an article on Special Needs planning shortly thereafter., 2014
  • Past Host of locally produced television show, Golden Opportunities airing Sundays at 11:30 am on WKYC-TV Channel 3, the Cleveland NBC affiliate. Target audience are those 50 and better with useful information on a variety of topics including legal, medical, insurance, financial, dental, AARP topics, Cleveland Department on Aging issues, community events and more. The show is the longest running locally produced show in Cleveland, starting in September 1998. I have hosted the following years- 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 to present. We celebrated our 20th anniversary this year. Show ended effective 7/1/18, due to lack of sponsorship., 2016
