Ms. Steiner graduated from the College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in business economics in 1979. At Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, she graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor, and in 2012, the National Elder Law Foundation certified her as an Elder Law Attorney. Laurie is also named as a Certified Specialist in Elder Law by the Ohio State Bar Association.  She was named VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women and for three years, was given the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Integrity in Business.  

A member of the Estate Planning Council of Cleveland, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, Elder Law Answers, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Ms. Steiner is a frequent speaker on issues of estate planning and elder law.
