In November 2006, James W. Reardon co-founded Mentor, Ohio-based Carrabine & Reardon, Co., LPA. Since that time, he has provided representation to clients in the Cleveland metropolitan area and throughout the northeast part of the state, focusing his practice on three primary areas.
Mr. Reardon assists clients in family law matters, including divorce, parenting rights, complex property division, and child and spousal support. His criminal defense practice involves the representation of people who have been charged with state or federal offenses, including driving under the influence, assault, domestic violence, drug possession and distribution, and murder and manslaughter. Finally, Mr. Reardon handles personal injury litigation on behalf of clients who have been injured as a result of another party's negligence in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and defective products.
A native of Ohio, Mr. Reardon attended Miami University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. Remaining in the state, he enrolled at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1992. Admitted to practice before all Ohio courts since that year, Mr. Reardon is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
A former president and current member of the Geauga County Bar Association, Mr. Reardon stays abreast of current developments in his practice areas through his active participation in several other professional organizations. His memberships include the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Lake County, Ohio - Bar Association. Highly regarded by his colleagues, Mr. Reardon has received an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
