Seth R. Smith

Born and raised in Licking County, Attorney Seth R. Smith brings deep local roots and a strong commitment to justice. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and his law degree from Campbell University in Raleigh, North Carolina.   After returning to Ohio, Seth began his legal career as an intern at the Licking County Prosecutor’s Office, where he discovered his passion for criminal defense. Since entering private practice, he has represented clients facing a wide range of charges, including felonies, misdemeanors, and federal crimes. Seth also regularly practices in Franklin and Licking County Domestic Relations Courts, guiding clients through complex custody disputes, divorces, and other family law matters with skill and compassion.   Outside of work, Seth is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt who values discipline, focus, and resilience—principles that shape both his personal life and legal practice.
